West Norfolk Academy of Music

West Norfolk Academy of Music is owned and run by Bekki Smith, a very well known and experienced teacher in the local area.

Bekki has over 45 years of musical experience and has been teaching for over 30 years. Bekki trained with Desmond Greef MBE in Thornham before beginning her own musical career which started at Heacham Junior School. Bekki also ran the Technics Music Academy at Lynn Music in Kings Lynn and later the Casio Music School.

In June 2009 Lynn Music sadly closed and Bekki was forced to find new premises for the Music School....hence West Norfolk Academy of Music (formerly 'MUSIKADEMY') was born!

Music Teachers

All teachers are patient, friendly, well qualified and highly experienced musicians who will encourage you to learn an instrument whether you wish to simply learn for fun, have help with GCSEs or A Levels or go the whole way with graded exams and play professionally!

Each teacher is CRB/DBS checked and each room has full 24hr CCTV
